How can I change the DNS?

Go to the section DNS update in your client account. Here you can submit the domain and the new DNS. You will then receive an invoice and upon payment we will initiate the change. For generic domains (com,net,org,info,name) there is no charge.

You can get your FI Domain Name here. We offer the required local presence agreement for registrants outside Finland. You need to have a trademark covering Finland (WIPO, OHIM or Finnish TM) to register a Finnish domain. The Finland domain name does not have to match the trademark. A .FI domain is registered in 1 day. If you don't have a trademark, then you can register a Finnish trademark inside 10 days for Eur 215,- plus legal expenses.

 

Some domain registrars offer 10, 25, 50 top level domains. We are the only place where you can register "ALL +300 Domain Extensions worldwide" including Finnish domain .FI.

2. Who can register a .FI domain name ?

 

There are no requirements for Finnish registrants. The business registration number or social security number for the individual will be requested. For applicants outside Finland it is required that you have a trademark registered in either WIPO or OHIM. The trademark does not have to match the Finland domains. Via our legal partner in Mariehamn we will provide the required local admin address. This service is free of charge. Free DNS is offered for any domain registration.

3. Which characters can I use for a Finland domain ?
