The hugely succesful .me can now be registered as 1 year registrations (instead of minimum 2). Since the launch 3 months ago more than 100.000 domains have been registered. Top domains have been auctioned at premium prices (insure.me went for USD 68.000!). For sure it is positioned as a domain for personal blogs, but considering the low price and no restrictions any trademark owner should consider it before it is too late.
