First .asia completed orders

European Domain Centre is now receiving confirmation of the successful delegation of the first .asia domains ordered during the SR2a phase and for which only one application was received. Clients will receive a confirmation by email when their domains are registered.

Sunrise 2b and Sunrise 3 initiated

Trademarks applied for before 6th of Dec. 2006 and company names for registered companies in Asia can now be applied for. This Sunrise period finishes on the 14th of January.

If there are more than one valid application then there will be an auction between the applicants.

We strongly recommend that eligible applicants submit now instead of waiting for the landrush in February 2008.

General availability of .ES IDNs

General availability of IDNs (local characters) will begin from 12 December 2007. You can already now order and we will queue the domains.

Tokelau - .TK

The .TK Registry has introduced a Sunrise period for Trademark owners running until 3 December 2007. After this period domains will be open to anyone to register.

The minimum period for these is 3 Yrs.

2nd level .pe now available

The Peruvian Registry has announced the introduction of registrations directly under .pe.

Until the 7th of December 2007, Registrants of existing 3rd level .pe domains will have the possibility of claiming the corresponding 2nd level .pe domains. a Landrush should take place after the end of this grandfathering. You can already now submit any order to be processed in the landrush.
